Antibacterial action of Propolis "Apiário Silvestre"

This figure shows the inhibitory halos -representing the action of alcoholic propolis and glycolic propolis respectively - in face of Staphylococcus aureus bacterium (isolated from human skin lesions).

The propolis extracts presented inhibitory halos that extended themselves for an area larger than 13 mm, which proves the great antibacterial action of this product.
